Hello again my lovelies, I hope you are feeling well and happy today? I'm busy getting ready for my next trip, but I wanted to share a few more photos with you before then. These are a few of my favourites from the beginning of May. I flew back to Ireland on the 1st May, and was happy to be back home and surrounded by my gorgeous views again. Shropshire is beautiful, and I do love my time back in Shrewsbury, but it is wonderful to come home to Ireland. And I love that I am finally in a place that truly feels like home!! The day I got back was a beautiful sunny one, so I went for a walk on the shore to reacquaint myself with the sea air. That night there was an absolutely stunning sunset to welcome me home as well! On the Sunday I went to a Harp and Choir concert in Malin with a dear friend. It was a real treat to hear some of the local traditional songs being played and sung, something I would definitely recommend if you ever get the chance. You know it's good when the hair stands up on your arms and you get a chill/thrill from the music!

Well hello again my lovelies, and happy Monday! I hope that you all have a fun week planned? Today I have a few photos to share with you from my last trip to England at the end of April. Since my focus for this blog is Inishowen, I won't go into too much detail about my adventures there. Partially because it was an extremely busy trip and would take far too long to tell you everything anyway! In a nutshell; I saw many friends and family members, including some I hadn't seen in far too many years, I went on a three day Hen-Do that I organised for my best friend Victoria, I had a fitting for my Bridesmaid's dress, I got a new tattoo, I celebrated my 43rd birthday, I went to a school reunion, and had many wonderful meals in great company! It was a busy couple of weeks, but I was so glad to be able to see so many people and celebrate different occasions together. I am so lucky to have so many wonderful people in my life!

Hello again my lovelies, I hope you're all having a great weekend so far? This week marked the Summer Solstice, and I have been loving the fact that it's light until around midnight here! Of course, things are going to get gradually darker from here on out, but I shall enjoy it while I can.
Here are some of my favourite photos from the second week in April. I was busy working on a few different projects, but also made time to go on some nice long walks in the area. I love that if I go one way, I'll be at the beach in minutes, whereas if I head in the other direction I get to enjoy the hill views.
That week, I also treated myself to a couple of meals out, or as I like to say, I was supporting local businesses! ;-) I also found a few great bargains in charity shops, which is always a good thing. I love that I can find new things for myself, support a charity, and be more sustainable, all at the same time! A large percentage of my wardrobe is second hand or vintage, and I love being able to give old items a second chance at life.
Hello my lovelies, how are you all doing so far this week? I have a busy
schedule planned, but hoping to post a few things on here when I can.
Here are some photos from the first week in April for you to enjoy. I
got to see my cousin Catherine again that Tuesday night, and we went
for a meal at Nancy's Barn before taking part in their quiz. That was
another fun evening, and we came second, only one point behind the
winners, haha! On Friday I was back at Nancy's Barn, treating myself to
lunch. Then I did a bit of a shop to stock up a few things for the
weekend. Storm Kathleen was due to hit on the Saturday, and I wanted to
be prepared. Luckily this storm wasn't nearly as bad up by me as Isha or
Jocelyn were back in January, and I didn't even lose power. Still,
it never hurts to have a few extra bags of crisps or cans of Guinness 0.0
in the house! Other than those two jaunts, I didn't really get out
that week. I was busy with work and more online classes, and spent quite a bit of time in my art studio. However, I always enjoy the beautiful views from my
windows, and there were so many rainbows that week to admire. I was also easily
distracted by the antics of the lambs in the field next door, and kept
pausing my work in my art studio to watch them. Lambs are always so
active and excitable, it makes me wonder at what age they slow down and
become the much more sedate sheep?!
Hello my lovelies, I hope you've all had a good week? I've had family in the area so I've been busy seeing them, and haven't posted as much as I would have liked lately. (I always have some excuse, don't I?!) There is not much to tell you about the last week in March. I was busy with work and online classes, so mostly I just have views of Pollan Bay from my windows to share with you. I never get tired of that view though, so I hope you enjoy it too! I did also manage to get out to see some friends and family, so that was lovely. The Tuesday night I met a friend at Nancy's Barn for their first Quiz night, which was a lot of fun. Then the Friday night I was visiting cousins down at their shore house and we stayed up late playing Trivial Pursuit. I do love trivia! I read so much and absorb information constantly, so I tend to know a little about a lot of topics, but I never know HOW I know, haha!
