Hello and Welcome!

 Hello everyone, and a heartfelt welcome to my Blog. I recently made one of my life-long dreams come true, by moving to the ruggedly beautiful Inishowen Peninsula of Donegal, Ireland, and I thought I would share my adventures with you here. 

 
I was born and raised in England, but my great granny is from this area, and I was lucky enough to be able to spend every summer holiday here growing up. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to live here, and there is something that has always called me back to Inishowen, no matter how far I've traveled around the world, and wherever else I have lived.

 
I put my dreams on hold for a long time, and once I was finally ready to chase them, there were many delays due to ill health, Covid, lack of funds, etc, but I am nothing if not stubborn, and I moved here just last week! I am thrilled to have achieved one of my major bucket list items, and look forward to crossing some more off my list soon.

 
I am an artist and an aspiring writer, and I know that this beautiful landscape will provide me with all the inspiration I need to create. I hope to keep this Blog updated regularly with tales of my adventures, as well as photos I've taken along my way.
