Hello my loves, and happy Friday! I have some more photos and videos to share with you from last October. The evenings were really starting to draw in, but I still got out on some nice walks to enjoy the views. The light is ever-changing here. Not simply because of the weather and cloud patterns, but also because being so far north, the sun stays very low on the horizon in the winter months. And because of the hills around here, there are some people whose houses will remain in shadow for most of the winter! I'm lucky where I am, being quite high up on a hill, I still get to see the light all around me. My house has a lot of windows, so while it may be in shade or even raining on one side of the house, if you look out another window, you can often see blue skies and sun. It's quite symbolic, now I think about it!
This week I was busy with work things, but also got to see some friends, go on my walks, and I treated myself to yet another delicious meal at Nancy's Barn. They had a crab claw special on, how could I not??

Sometimes my view looks like a scene from John Carpenter's The Fog!

... And then later the same day I am blessed with this view again.
