Grey Skies and Happy Sighs...: April to May 2025, Cousins and Colourful Skies.

Hello my lovelies, how are you doing so far this week? I have been struggling again/still with a lot of things, and a recent sad diagnosis has not helped matters. However, I have some nice photos from the end of April and first two weeks of May to share with you all. Yay.

In my previous post I shared all my adventures from Donegal Town with you. So I had to rest a bit after that, and get back into work and catch up with a few things. All of that meant that I didn't get out much, but that's pretty much my standard anyway. At least I try to make it count on the days where I do actually leave the house!

One of my cousins, with his wife and baby, as well as some of her family and friends, were down at the family shore house over the Bank Holiday weekend, so I got to see them a few times, which was lovely. They also brought a pizza oven with them, and we got to eat some delicious homemade pizza, and chat and laugh late into the evening. I provided a roasted vegetable couscous, which was a hit. I've been told I need to make it for every family gathering from now on, haha!

Other than walking down to the shore to see them a couple of times, and one trip to collect dry-cleaning, I didn't get out of the house during that time. There was some beautiful weather and I should have been out enjoying it, but both my mental and physical health have really not been great this year, making everything so much more difficult than it should be. I was able to enjoy some beautiful sunset views over Pollan Bay from the comfort of my home though, and I will always be grateful for that.
