May to June 2025, Food, Friends, and Fiery Skies.

Hello again my lovelies, how are you all doing today? I'm sure a lot of you are happy that it's Friday? What is it about January that makes time drag so slowly??

These photos and videos are from the last week in May and the first week in June last year. I did actually manage to leave the house a few times, and I got to see some friends and family, which was lovely.

One of my friends who has visited me before, came over again at the end of May. This time he was with his sister, so she was able to see a little of this area too, and they both completely understand why I wanted to live here, haha. And because they had a rental car, we went and explored a little of the local area, going for a walk at the Glenevin Waterfall in Clonmany, and for a drive to the Mamore Gap and around Urris. Afterwards we had a pint at McFeeley's in Clonmany, and then to Nancy's Barn in Ballyliffin for dinner, which is always wonderful.

That same night I had been invited to a gathering at one of the family houses by the shore, with two of my cousins and a few of their friends whom I have met before. When they heard I had guests, they quickly invited them too, so all three of us went down to enjoy the craic, which always involves good food, great conversation, and a lot of booze. It ended up being a late night for those of us still standing!
