Hello my lovelies, and happy new week! I hope you all had a good weekend? I have some more photos to share with you this week, I know you're excited to see them. ;-) These are from the first full week in August, which was another busy time. The Clonmany Festival was on that week, which draws thousands of people to the area every year, as well as several other big events. There were many cousins staying down at their shore houses during that time, so I spent most evenings down visiting and catching up with different families. On the Tuesday I went with a few cousins and their families to the Clonmany Agricultural Fair held on Pollan Green. That was my first time attending that, and there was much to see, though we did end up spending a lot of time in the beer tent due to the heavy rain. I also got to see the famous Daniel O'Donnell singing live as he officially opened the show. Not something I expected, and now I can proudly say I've seen him live, haha. On the Thursday I went with some friend's to the Hooley at Cis Farren's Bar in Urris. There were some technical difficulties, and more bad weather, which meant that things kicked off far later than scheduled, so we didn't see much of the show, but it was still fun to be there. After a couple of hours we went into Clonmany and to Mac Tam's for a few drinks. The whole town was very busy with the festival going on nearby, and I'm not a fan of big crowds, but it was fun to be on the sidelines for a while. On the Saturday, my Mum, sister and niece came over from England to stay for two weeks down at the shore cottage, so I went down early to open things up for them and make dinner. We had a good evening together, with lots more planned over the course of their stay.
